Zapier Plan Updates: Tables, Interfaces, and MCP Now Included

Zapier plan updates mean Tables, Interfaces, and MCP are now included in Free, Pro, and Team plans, with no separate add-ons required. Zapier says the change simplifies billing and unlocks more automation by packing workflows, data, user-facing apps, and AI orchestration into one plan. Legacy and current-plan accounts are getting email notices that explain how the shift affects them.

Until this rollout, Tables and Interfaces were paid add-ons with plan-specific counts. They are now bundled, and the number of Tables and Interfaces is unlimited on those three plans. Record and page limits move from per-table caps to account-level limits. Zapier MCP, previously capped with a limited number of free calls, is included too: one MCP call equals two tasks.

Tables is the data layer: store leads, projects, or inventory, then trigger Zaps from that data, with custom fields, linked records, and built-in AI. Interfaces is the human layer—drag-and-drop forms, internal tools, and client-facing apps that can show live Table data and kick off workflows. Zapier MCP uses the same integration catalog so AI chat tools can schedule meetings, update records, send messages, or process refunds in natural language.

Zapier says Zap workflows already power more than 3.4 million businesses, from two-step Zaps to branching paths, filters, and delays. Suggested uses include an AI-assisted IT help desk, sales-call coaching that flags weak conversations, and lead capture that enriches and routes prospects automatically.
